Awarded in the juniper berry spirits category, this prize celebrates our craftsmanship, the unique heritage of the Jura and our commitment to excellence. The gin shows a harmonious balance of spicy and fruity notes: juniper aromas and citrus touches of lime and mandarin complement each other perfectly.

Jurassic Gin, from the Jurassic Spirits distillery, was awarded the exceptional score of 96 Falstaff points. It is a Dry Gin from the canton of Jura, Switzerland. On the nose, clear and very fresh aromas: scented juniper, a touch of coriander, hints of sandalwood and a distinctive trace of mandarin. On the palate, it is soft and silky, with an herbaceous, spicy, almost ethereal character. Mandarin notes come through clearly on a lingering, elegant finish.

At the prestigious USA Spirits Ratings 2025 international competition in San Francisco, our gin won a gold medal with 91 points. Jury tasting notes: aromas of juniper and fresh herbs open onto a spicy, generous palate, lifted by hints of cucumber and stone fruit, with a lingering botanical finish.

A jury made up of Siméon Calame (journalist for Gault & Millau), Thierry Cloux (spirits merchant, Trésors du Chai), David Moginier (food journalist and writer) and Alessandro Cogoni (“Switzerland’s Best Bartender 2024” at the Swiss Bar Awards) tasted one gin per producer from 27 Swiss brands to select the three best gins of the 2025 edition. Jurassic Gin™ was awarded the gold medal.
